What is an MP3 ?
MP3 is an audio format that mainly preserves the quality of a Wav file (same file used for CD music) keeping the file size up to 12 times smaller. It is ideal for audio files on the internet because of the file size advantage. All our audio media is in MP3 format to insure quality of sound and speed of download. You can either download or listen to it on your computer by streaming it off our website.
For anyone to play MP3 files you need an MP3 player. If you have windows 98 or higher (Windows NT/2000/ME) you don�t need any extra applications. Windows comes with a program called �Windows Media Player� that plays MP3s, however if you have Windows 95 or earlier, or if you would like to have a special MP3 player on your computer, you can find on the internet a few MP3 player programs that would do a little bit more than just play the MP3s, you can get some with graphic equalizers, etc� One of the best that we have seen is Winamp and you could download it free. As for the Mac users, Any Mac OS 8.6 and higher comes with a MP3 player built in.
