In the new madaye7 book by (Southern USA diocese), it says that we can say saints glorifcations during communion time. According to what I know, we shouldn't be saying Saints Glorifcations during Communion, but rather we should be saying the specific hymns for communion, like Pi-oik, Ef emepsha ghar, Anok Nem etc.

I was wondering if anybody knew what the order of the rites are for Tasbehat Asheya on Sundays during the Blessed Month of Kiahk. Is it like the Midnight Praises, with the explanations and everything after the Fourth Hoos, or something else? ??? Please answer if you can.

They did the long intro and then finished the hymn in coptic. I am not sure if it was El Shahid Abu Fam because I think there was a girl's voice in the choir I'm looking for, but I didn't hear any girls in the tasbeha recorded by El Shahid Abu Fam (that and the fact that El Shahid Abu Fam did ten theeno in arabic and pretty much skipped the long intro).

Anyone know the name of this choir?

I was just wondering,
when does the Kiahk tasbeha begin? Does it start with the fast or only for that month?
I know that there are many things that should be said but what is actually said during this period?
How does the Liturgy and Vespers change during this period?
I have no idea about this period litteraly.
Please fill me in on anything I should know.

I have been following Sahidic Coptic lessons at the University.
I'm starting to get to know the meaning of various parts of hymns during Mass, which is great of course :-).

I have been thinking of the grammar of the following sentence during the Hiten ni:

Epchois ari ehmot nan empi ko evol ente nen novi.
O Lord grant us the forgiveness of our sins.
How do you split the parts in this sentence?

Epchois = Lord.
Ente = of
ne-n novi = our sins.

So what about the rest?

I previously put a post for kiahk hymns. I think I was pretty general and people didn't understand.
One of my kiahk inquiries is as follow:
What would be the order for the vesper praises (tasbehat asheya) for kiahk?
I am mainly the one who leads this in my church before the Vespers.
By now, you must understand that the vespers praises is corrupt... ;)  :P :)
In my church, the vespers praises is as follows:
1- Niethnos Tiro
2- Fourth Hoos
3- Saturday Psali
4- Saturday Theotokia
5- Concluding (O penshois)
I know it is not exactly right (missing stuff), but that is what I have been taught and the typical problem;
we barely have enough time to say the above before the Rasing of Incense begins.

This is a link to Father Stephanos Rizk saying the fraction for Covenant Thursday (Maundy Thursday). However it is a bit different to what we hear on Covenant Thursday. It is a bit longer, and by the sounds of things (as I don't understand Arabic really well) it has a much more deeper meaning. I was wondering If anyone could find the text for this?? I have searched high and low to no prevail. If you find it it would be a great help. If not, and if I am not asking for too much, whenever someone has the time will anyone be able to translate it into English?
