Psalm & Gospel (of Matins - 1st Hour) :: Aier `m`vry]

I am like a man who has no strength, Adrift among the dead, Like the slain who lie in the grave. Awake! Why do You sleep, O Lord? Arise! Do not cast us off forever. Arise for our help, And redeem us for Your mercies' sake. Alleluia.
