How come most of Pope Kirollos's pictures are looking at you?

I have one. I look at it from any view and its looking at me. Do the photographers edit it? Or is it original??? ???

  • Its a method of portrait frequently used by photographers, in which the subject looks directly at the camera lens, and thus when the photograph is developed, no matter what angle you look at the photo, the eyes seem to follow you. Its similar to a direct mode of address.

  • Yeah, same when I was younger, I used to be so scared of it... but theres nothing to be afraid of anyway: "If God is for us, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31)
