Our relationship with the priest

I am finding it hard to keep my thoughts to myself. I know I am supposed to seek guidance only from priests but I can not trust my soul to one person or a few either I feel he will be too lenient or he may even be too strict. I suppose these forums are only open to bring people to church and to guide them to seek a confession father and to share resources or to share something edifying. But it may be more edifying to share nothing because one can share too much
