I believe Fr. Peter Farrington is currently writing a paper on that. So, I will leave that discussion alone. Fr. Peter has expressed that it is not correct to chrismate Eastern Orthodox members, since they are considered Orthodox by the Oriental Orthodox, and has not been done that way in centuries past.
Forgive me if I sound harsh, but I do not believe you want the anathemas removed...at all. For some puzzling reason, you want the anathemas to stick.You want to be the only one that is correct. And this is not the case. You do not believe that the Sun can be bright and round at the same time.
Rather, sainthood is determined by the Church primarily on the basis of the right faith
It is not up the LACOPTS or the SUSCOPTS or one monk to decide who is a saint and who is not.
