Kiahk Praises Sermon

I was wondering If anyone had any english sermons/lessons they can share to help me with my sunday school lesson tomorrow. Thanks a lot!

  • Thanks guys for the links! I am however looking for something specifically for the Kiahk Midnight praise. My lesson got delayed so I still have time to prepare, any kinds of contemplations on certain hymns would be great!

    perhaps you can start off your lesson by explaining why the kiahk tasbeha is called (seb3a arba- 7/4)...that was news for me haha

    and i remember that in a sermon once, a priest explained one of the theotokias in which we describe st. Mary as being the "knowledge of Ezekial, the grace of Daniel..."

    and perhaps you could also point out to the kids that the reason we so vehemently praise St. Mary is because of Christ, that is, all praises that involve her are directly related to Christ. so we don't exalt her to the level of God, like the Catholics.
