Orthodox view of salvation vs. Protestant view of atonement
In response to Rob Bell's controversial book "Love Wins", Steve the Builder from Ancient Faith Radio gives a short summary of the difference between the mainstream Protestant view of salvation and an Orthodox view.
The analogy in the video really helps to make sense of the differences in the views. The mainstream Protestant view is also the view of the Catholic Church (until Vatican Council II) on atonement based on Anselm's philosophy, so it's the general Western view of salvation.
