Conversion to Coptic Orthodox Christianity
What is the typical length of time spent in catechisis, if any, for those interested in converting to the Coptic Orthodox Church before they are baptised and accepted as a full member ?

i was afraid to ask this question so i just kept coming to church, and after about 1 year, abouna asked me, 'so when are you going to join us? i have been waiting for you!'
so it was quite straightforward for me.
i suppose it generally takes a few months. if there are catechism classes (some churches are restarting these), the enquirer can go to these, otherwise abouna has conversations with you till he thinks you are ready.
