A thread about trees

Okay, so I came across this picture which really confused me:


I hope you guys are familiar with this monastery in Wadi El Natrun (it's the Syrian's Monastery).

What was confusing me is where it says, "Tree of St. Ephrem," which is referring to this miracle mentioned in the 4th paragraph here:

But all my life I thought that tree was the Tree of Obedience which grew from St. John the Dwarf's staff:

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. . . . .  ???

At the end of 1995, during a clean-up of the land of the monastery, a palm tree was discovered. Its trunk branches into three at the height of 1.70 m. Normal branching in palm trees occurs at the base of the trunk. Therefore, this tree is thought to resemble the Christian faith in the Holy Trinity–three in one and one in three.

In Saint Cathrine's Monastery in egypt they think so.

its saint Ephraim's Tree... lets think of why...

Saint Bishoy lived in the same community with saint John the short... and saint Ephraim was walking to saint Bishoy's cell to visit him, and he left his stick close by, because he saw it inappropriate to walk on a Great saint with his stick... so lets go back to saint John, he use to walk for a GREAT distance... they say miles upon miles... now how far is the stick from saint Bishoy's cell? around 250 feet! so according to common sense if its one or the other... it would have to be saint Ephraim's stick!

I never heard of St John's Monastery...
