The Coming(s) of Christ

Ok, so as we all know, the Old  Testament mentioned the "comming of the Messiaha"

my question is: Was it ever mentioned that the Messiaha would come twice?  once when He came,and once more at the end of time?

    Read Joel Chapters 2-4. Chapers 2 and 4 talk about the comings of Christ and Chapter 3 talks about the descent of the Holy Spirit.

    the word "comings" is a little dangerous. there are ONLY 2 comings of Christ, the first, to fulfill the plan of salvation, and second to bring on Judgment Day.

    It says that when Judith killed Holofernes, she hacked him twice with her dagger. Perhaps the number two (mentioned many times in the bible) refers to both comings or to both testaments of the bible.

    i don't think you need much to verify these "2 comings" it's simple....one to make people ready and grant them the fullness of God's mercy, and the other to FULLY bring them to GOD.
