    no there is one tune for all of kiahk. je efismaro-ot, if you don't know the long way:
    Ef-emip-sha-ghar think this have jefis-maroot to)
    you can say it the fast normal way which is like the doxology. and you don't have too say ef-emisha ghar. you can say normal kiahk 7 & 4 madaieh or you can say the tawzi' madaieh found in the madaieh book. there is one for every week.
  • As far as i know je ef esmaroot doesnt change.
    However, u chant the hymne Tiparthenos instead of Efemepsha on other days than sunday.

    U can find a recording on copticheritage.org

    http://www.copticheritage.org/Hymn_Encyclopedia.phtml

    search for Kiahk => tiparthenos

    If u need the txt i'll post it for you tonight when i get home. However, the txt is taken from the Friday Theotokia (u'll find them somewhere lol) and the rest of the txt is the same as the hymn Ouran in shoushou, so maybe u can find it in the meanwhile. U can also find it in the big DS book by Albair.

    hos erof, can you please give more info about this hymn than what is said or written in albair's book?
    thank you
  • it's just a hymn for the weekdays.
    Actually, its written in the Kiahk Psalmody Book of the Mo7arraq Monastery. Its kinda unknown though, just like isthermegi (the one for the paramoun of Nativity) which is btw also written in that same psalmody.

    U'll find the tune rather easy to learn, i think its a nice hymn but i never go to weekday liturgies so i never had a chance to chant it ;D.

    Here u'll find the txt and a discussion about this hymn on hymns site:

    i just heard the hymn. it's so weird. no wonder it goes back to an alexandrian muallem. but Hos erof, would you have any other soource for the hymn rather than albair.
  • No i don't.

    But what i understood is that the hymn is originally from Upper Egypt (which explains why the txt can primairily be found in the Mo7arraq Kiahk Psalmody), so basicaly its just one of these rare hymns from sa3eed.
