I think tithes are the 10% (el 3eshor) that you get out of everything you do and give it to God.
First fruits are the start of everything...like everything you start, you have to give something to God first so your work will be blessed...like if you pray, you pray first thing in the morning so your day will be blessed..some people in Egypt use to bake some kind of breads and first give it to the church/poor so that would be blessed also.
