Mark 7:25-26 (King James Version)

25For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

26The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

  • I got more questions.. I hope I am not burdening people by my many questions.

    Mark 7:35-36 (King James Version)
    35And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

    36And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

    Why did Jesus want to hide this miracle if thats what He wanted to do? I think this miracle happend at or near the sea of Galilee, Gentile territory I think so I did not think (I think) there would be misunderstanding of Jesus' mission

    (See other post http://tasbeha.org/content/community/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=3018)

    And the people who published (?) what He did.. were they not sinning? do you think Jesus the LORD GOD was angry with them?

    Also were the people really astonished BEYOND MEASURE?
    Maybe God knows a way to measure their astonishment?

    Also I want to ask what was this impediment of his tongue? whats blocking him from speaking? a psychological illness? a demon?something physical on his tongue? a string? what is meant by string? is there a medical condition today equivalent? to this persons condition?

    Mark 7:33 (King James Version)
    33And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

    How do you think He might of spat and touched His tongue if He has His fingers in this persons ears if I am making sense?
