nice little prayer
here is a little poem i found i thought it was reelly cute
Dear God,
I called tonight to talk a little while,
I need a friend to listen to my anxiety,
You see I cant quite make it,
Through a day just on my own.
I need your love to guide me,
So I will never feel alone.
I want to ask you please to keep,
My family safe and sound.
Come and fill their life with confidence,
For whatever fate they are bound.
Give me faith, dear God, to face
Each hour throughout the day,
And not to worry over things
I cant change in any way.
I thank you God, for being home
And listening to my call,
For giving me such good advice,
When I stumble and fall.
Your number, God, is the only one
That answers every time,
I never get a busy signal,
Never had to pay a dime.
So thank you, God, for listening to my troubles and my sorrow. Goodnight God, I love you too, and will call again tomorrow.

everyday i need you Lord...
everyday i need you Lord,
but this day especially,
i need some extra strength to face whatever is to be.
this day more than any day
i need to feel you near,
to fortify my courage
and to overcome my fear.
by myself, i cannot meet
the challenge of the hour,
there are times where humans help,
but we need a higher power.
to assist us bear what must be borne,
and so dear Lord, i pray...
hold on to my trembling hand
and be near me today.
