I'm a bit confused about how we should end a Veneration service.
If we look at Coptic Reader, it should be
- Conclusion of the Watos Theotokia starting from "O our Lord, Jesus Christ"
- End this conclusion with
* O Lord hear us...
* 3 Lord have mercy
If we look at Tasbeha.org and Coptic Heritage, it should be
- Intercede on our behalf... / Pray to the Lord... based on the Saints of the Church in the tune of the Conclusion of the Watos Theotokia
- Conclusion of the Watos Theotokia starting from "O angel of this day/night"
- End this conclusion with only
* 3 Lord have mercy
If we look at a veneration service prayed by Ibrahim Ayad, he does
- Conclusion of the Watos Theotokia starting from "O angel of this day/night"
- End this conclusion with
* O Lord hear us... (Coptic)
* O Lord hear us... (Arabic)
I know time management is a factor for some services, but if we exclude this factor, what should be the correct rite?
