Forgotten vestments

I'm just wondering does anyone know these vestments seem to be forgotten such as the ballin and the cuffs , girdle etc.. cause I see pictures of pope kyrillos wearing the ballin but after him I don't see it I know it's purely external but I was just wondering if there was a reason for it
