The thing to say about hymns is that excepting a few they all contain passages from the Holy Bible.. indeed in tasbeha there are whole hymns dedicated to chapters from the Holy Bible and in the liturgy too. This is not common with Christian songs at all where the focus is more on emotions, feelings and relationships..
