"Madre de Dios"

How did this pass? Who's decision was it that "Theotokos" was okay?

My opinion it's the most destructive doctrine the church has yet devised.

Don't mistake me. I'm opposed to the whole idea.

  • ....But I like yous guys a lot, and some of the best people I've met were Catholic.

I'm almost tempted to quote Nestorius here. I'm literally that opposed to the entire concept.
  • Okay? Sure, Jesus Christ, but I don't like it.
  • "We" don't say "Madre de Dios" for very valid reasons.
  • I suppose the last thing to be said is this is a goodbye.

@Mcarmichael is apparently not an orthodox believer and I don't think he cares too much about this idea yet he decided to start an entire discussion about. I guess he thinks that we can discuss a very important doctrine of Christianity in tweeting-like comments.
