Genesis 17:19

"then God said: "No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; i will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him..." (Genesis 17:19)

If in Genesis 17:19, God had already told Abraham that he will bear a son and name him Isaac, why did he send those three strangers in the beginning of Genesis 18?

  • He knew abraham needed a gentle reminder that God was already on the case and to have more faith.
a lot like us when we forget that God loves us and wants the best and start worrying!
  • thanx again :)
