    I don't know if there is an official one, but I think you can use one of these at least. If you can't read Coptic, just ask for a transliteration.
  • Could you write that in english-coptic please? Thanks

    Epshois Esos Pikhrestos, emshiri emifnouti, anok pe pi-ref-ernovi.
  • The Jesus prayer begins with "My Lord" therefore it is Pachois not Epchois
  • @caji What is your source? I've checked multiple sites and they simply state "Lord"

    @Athanasius1:

    Greco Bohairic: The one that minatasgeel stated, but epshiri instead of emshiri
    and OB: ebshois iesous bìkhrìstos. ebshiri mebnoudi. nai nei. anok be birefernowi

    ì: short i as in 'with'
    Nai nei: the 'a' is pronounced as a short 'a' and the 'e' is pronounced as the arabic 'alef'

    or maybe imikhail can correct me again. If he gives another pronunciation, follow his instructions.
  • Thanks Aegyptoc!
    & Good argument caji, but i learnt it as 'O My Lord Jesus Christ..' ? (O Pachois Esos Pikhrestos..)
    is that wrong?
