war and capital punishment?
Greetings,
War is a MAJOR issue that has faced humanity since its begining. the New Testament seems very clear in condemning war but many in the church teach that war can be justified. Is this true? If so then how? What about the sermon on the mount? I ask because here in Ethiopia many believe that St. George fought besides Ethiopians at the battle of Adwa and I find that hard to swallow. thanks!
