Does Cantor Gad have Sight?

hany58

Hey Everyone,
I know it might be a silly question, but I'm just wondering, Does Cantor Gad have eye Sight? I have seen so many videos of him chanting hymns without books at all. Does anyone know? Also, Where can I find hymns for him, extra videos etc? Thanks

geomike

That's the amazing thing about him. He is blind and has all the hymns memorized.

Some of his videos can be found here.

His hymns can be found at alhan-youthbishopric.com. (Search by cantor and if you can't read arabic I believe his name is 9th, counting from the bottom, upwards).

Of course, there are some hymns here on the website as well.

I've looked at one of his videos & I noticed that he is wearing a watch in his hand. Are you sure that he is actually blind, or just has a weak eye sight?

Haha, I guess your vision isn't a problem. Nice catch.
