Fr. Thomas Hopko -- accurate account of history?

I was listening to this episode concerning the 5th century controversies.

Is it a fair account and unbiased? Do you think it is fine to continue listening to his summary of the history of the church through the centuries?

I am afraid this thread will turn into an endless debate as to where the truth lies.

Fr. Hopko is a great lecturer, I do listen to him and read his writings. However, when it comes to history, we have to realize that the Russian Church has its roots within the Church of Constantinople and there where the Russian Church has its allegiance.

Therefore, we have to be careful in how they paint our popes and our clergy in general realizing that that the history they narrate is from their own perception wearing the Greek binoculars.
