Its called Bible and cell phones


I wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cellphone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm... where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities?'

May I add a small suggestion? Is it possible to get CTV on the internet?? Those talented people at tasbeha.org, can they also add a section to stream the programs from CTV (VideoStreaming?).

I've asked a lot of questions on this forum, and that's because I don't mind asking,, and I REALLY want to know the answer. I know it annoys many people, but I prefer to ask and learn than be ignorant. Yes, I could do research myself before asking, but, its easier to ask ;)

So, i really truley wanted to say thanks. I know I thank u each time I ask a question in the topic, but i wanted to just say that u have NO IDEA how much u have been a help. THere would have been NO WAY for me to find the answers of my questions had I tied alone. So, the fact that u bothered spending time writing the answer, and posting it really is a good service.

I don't want to mention any names here, but please continue. Its best to ask and learn.

I've that the Coptic Church in Sydney has decided on a plan that would bring up the body of Abouna Mina Nematalla from the cemetery he currently rests in and move his coffin someplace else. Has anyone heard this story? Do you know exactly what the plan is?

As Coptic Christians, are we allowed (officially) to go and pray with Catholics or Protestants? Whether in their mass or in prayer meetings etc?

Has anyone ever attended any protestant prayer meeting/or Catholic Prayer meeting? What were your thoughts? Did you learn anything from them?

I attended one in Dublin. I thought it was quite cute actually. The priest there was really strong on the dogma of the Immaculate Conception.

One thing I did learn from them was on how to be strong in my faith. Also, I found some very sincere friends there too.

This is kind of an odd question, so forgive me if I disrupt the forums. My mom made a hair appointment for me on good friday evening and I told my mom that I am not under any circumstances getting my hair done on ANY day in Holy week because I want to focus on God and not worldy things. My mom and sister think I'm being unreasonable and trying to disrupt their plans. I really don't care about getting my hair done at all... Was I wrong to veto the appointment, was it disrespectful... 1. What does the husband resemble or should be seen as in the eyes of his wife, and vise versa?

2. How should decisions in marriage be approached if the partners disagree on a certain issue? should the man's wishes be respected or should the wife go ahead with what she thinks is right (given that both sides presented a reasonable argument)?

3. What are the common values for success in marriage?
