Do you ever realize that many teens these modern times are so prideful and always boast about themselves..  They think tehy are the best when they aren't.  They make fun of those who "may" be weaker then them but yet they have the same problem.  I just hate when teens and even people act like this :-\

My question is: How can you teach them from not doing that? Prevent it?  I understand prayer is the fundamental issue but otherwise? Also i understand anger is a sin.  How can you prevent anger against those pepople and anger in general.  How can you control your inner anguish.??

Any views/comments? thanks everyone=)

It has come to our attention that a youth who attended last week's convention and stayed on the 5th floor (519 West-Boys Side) was diagnosed with a skin infection called MRSA (methicillin-resistant staph aureus).  Thankfully and by God's grace, the youth will be alright. 

However, we would like to stress that MRSA is a dangerous infection because it cannot be treated with many of the antibiotics that are typically used for skin infections.  It usually begins as an area that looks like a pimple then becomes red, tender and may drain pus.  It is treatable with specific antibiotics, but needs to be treated promptly.  If any of the children in your congregation develop these symptoms please have them see their physician as soon as possible to receive the appropriate treatment.

We do not want to cause alarm or frighten the kids; however, we want to make them aware of the problem and to take care of it as soon as it arises.

Please contact the necessary leaders in your congregation to make sure the word gets spread.

During any major feasts (Ressurection, Ascention, etc), what hymns do they sing? I checked the BOC website, and it seems that most of the clergy are of British origen, so can one assume that there are no arabic hymns used in their services?

What hymns do they sing during Communion? I'm really curious to know. In the CoC we always sing Psalm 150 (guaranteed!). Do they do this also?? Do they use the CoC tunes?? or do they have their own tunes?? Also, do they have CoC tunes with just English words or do they have their own music that identifies with their cultural background??

Its probably a dumb question, but can any CoC Christian attend Communion in the B.O.C?

Finally, would anyone know if there is an analagous Church in France??

I'd love to hear from anyone who is part of the B.O.C.

This girl is a teenager in age, but not a teenager at heart and mind. God took by her hand and helped her to pass by that stage in a completely different way, different from any other person. However, the "catalyst" if you will call it, that led her to God, was a guy she was talking to online (they live thousands of miles apart- nothing happened between them, nothing like dating of the sort). He was the first person to make her feel loved and he gave her a sense of security and company. She felt like she wasn't alone anymore, she felt that nobody would break her heart again. As you can see, she fell in love with him. As soon as she became attached to God, she knew that their relationship, whatever it was, was a wrong one. She ended it abrubtly and as soon as possible. Almost three years later, she still remembers him. She wishes to talk to him and be in his company like before. However, you have to understand that this girl is completely attached to God. She looks to him for all the refuge and rest in the world. The problem is, this person was the first person to make her feel loved, or so she thought (she doesn't know how he felt). What is she to do? She is to forget, that is for sure. She has definitely moved on, but at the same time she can't forget.
