My mom carried me during the middle of the night so I can get breastfed. While she was carrying me, she tripped over something, and I slipped from her hands, and I got tossed 2 1/2 meters from where she was, and she cried out "Ya babah Kyrillos, ya Marimina!!!" And Miraculously, I landed SLOWLY on the hard floor without a scratch, or even crying. But on the other hand, my mom's back was and still is messed-up. Later, my mom opened Pope Kyrillos's book of miracles, and she found the EXACT miracle written in there. I really hate myself for causing my mom all that pain. :'(

On reading the text referenced below, I noticed that the quality of the translation and syntax is generally poor. However, there is also some wrong translations that possibly require immediate attention (for Example in reference to Christ's healing of Peter's Mother in law, it is translated as Peter's Step-Mother, a term that means that she was Peter's father's wife). This is by no means intended to be a comprehensive list in difficulties with the text, but rather a general pointer.

Pope Shenouda III series 7

THE TWO SAINTS PETER & PAUL

(ON THE FEAST'S DAY OF THE APOSTLES WHICH IS THEIR FEAST)

Particularly pieces in a minor key - to my mind, they express the very deepest longings, emotions and feelings of the heart. At such times when I really listen to the piece and am being shaken on the inside, I sometimes use the mood and emotions evoked by the music to lift up my heart to God, e.g. if a piece of music fills my heart with sadness, I think of my many sins and shortcomings before God and cry out to Him.

What are your opinions/comments?

pray for me

joe

Hi,

I have an app called iCoptic. It gives me the church readings on my cell phone. Its really good.

However, there are some small adjustments that are required.

Can the owner of this app just correct the bible layout? Some words are stuck together. Other than that, it is a very useful app indeed!
