I know it is a joyful ceremonial, that we sing hymns in that tune, but what are the hymns (Acts Response, Psalm and Gospel Response, Aspasmos Adam and Watos) to be said. I couldn't find them in my Euchologion book.
God bless you and mention me in your prayers

Nisavev teero is NOT a festal hymn. It is a hymn specifically for the patriarch/bishop. Why do people always chant this hymn during the feasts?!

GB
Tony

I assume the answer should be yes, as "Khristos Analemepsis" ought to be said (in my church they didn't) during the Pentecost Mass.
God bless you all and mention me in your prayers

Dear all,
I read through one of the hymns, but don't remember exactly where (in deacons' service book: or a regular Euchologion), that hymn is sung in Virgin Mary's feast and fast, and it has a verse which says "we offer a prostration for you". I heard also, but don't know if that referred to the same hymn that Pope Shenouda wanted to scrap that hymn from being sung at all.
Also those bishops or priests that ask for 50 prostrations plus the 400 on Good Friday for Virgin Mary; is that right?
My question in these two examples: is it right that we offer prostration (metania in Greek) to saints, or only to God. And please explain what hymn (or hymns) I heard these things on
God bless you all and mention me in your prayers

Blessed "happy" Orhtodox people,

You know I travel around the world a lot, and i've been to many orthodox churches.I just want to say that the tasbeha in the Coptic Church in France is MIND BLOWING! THe youth in Villejuif (Saint George's and Saint Mikhail's Church) France are amazing. They are so young, and do certain things in the tasbeha so well... i've never heard it that way before. If i tape them, would you like to upload it to tasbeha.org???

THey are also very humble. Its quite remarkable seeing them together. They are around 18 years old, and direct the holy Mass together, and sing so well...

Is there a certain hymn in your Church that you do differently that no other Church does?

For example, there was a time in Saint Mark's London that we did Arepsalin in a very cool / funky way. It was remarkable. Our sunday school teacher came in and did it that way, and we just copied him. Its hard to do it that way again because if you are singing with people who do not know that style, its quite hard. Its for this reason i wish to record the style of each Church, that way, if u travel to France, u can learn how we do the tasbeha in that country (and vice versa for any other country u may be in!).

Regards
