I noticed when I was listening to that hymn for the first time that it says in one of the verses it was Archangel Michael, who went to Babylon to rescue the three young men. I know that our Coptic hymns is a trustable source of tradition and convention within our church. Would someone please explain to me this, when what I have learnt in the church was that Christ was the fourth angel-like man in the furnace of fire. Is there a contradiction here?
God bless you all and mention me in your prayers

copticheritage.org presents: the all-English congregation responses for the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil!

We have 40 files of a recording by the HCOC members of all the congregation responses for the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil completely in English. The responses were adapted to fit the Coptic tune exactly, and the English translation is based on the The Divine Liturgies of Saints Basil, Gregory and Cyril book released by the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southen United States. For some hymns, the context for the response is added for clarity. Originally from the (unreleased) Liturgy of St. Basil in English recorded by the HCOC and presided by Fr. Pishoy Wasfy in the Church of the Virgin Mary and St. Athanasius in Mississauga, ON.

;D

Dear all,
I was listening to Pha Nitenh sung to Archangel Michael from two sources, Cantor Towfik, and Cantor Zaher (as minagir told me, he is Abba Raphael's cantor). Anyway, the hymn is completely different between both. Cantor Towfik begins the hymn as though he were singing "kata nikhoros" for Resurrection, although the tune is different afterwards. Cantor Zaher sings it in a completely different tune, which I don't think is common with any other hymn.
I have heard before that Cantor Towfik has his own style, and many people disagree about his. As he seems to have made up some melismata, or tunes when he is used to singing long hymns, and they call it "muharraqian style" after Virgin Mary's monastery in El Muharraq. By the way, I got both hymns from alhan.youthbishopric.com, and I would like to listen to your opinions.
God bless you and mention me in your prayers
