As part the Kiakh Prayers, the church sings a praise to saint mary saying...... O Mary, Lady of virgins, you attained greatness, from the True Light,............. or Ya meem reh yeh meem, ya set el-abkar, qad nelty ta3zeem, men noor el-anwar, wa wohebty ta3zeem, men 3endoo qad sar, wa 7amalty al-khaleq, man za la ya7tar...... but they also have it as a song or sprital hymn, i found the english version but i am looking for a arabic song version or both in one... and sounds good and clear... if you can help please reply thank you so much before jan7th would be great after is still okay :)

i have notice in the kiakh hymn, Ke ghar, that in one of the verses there is an extra syllable. it is the je emper er hoti maraim one. how does this work in the tune and "beat" to that hymn. or am i not saying right?

As we are approaching the woderful month of praising, we have posted a complete (as possible) Kiahk Psalmody [Coptic - English - Arabic] in a printable format. You need to install the included fonts in the zip file in order to be able to view the document properly. You can download it from our Church site at this link:

Hi,

Could someone provide me with the lyrics to the above named Hymn. I do believe it is sung after the Bible reading or sermon on Sundays. WHat is the equivalent hymn for weekday liturgies?

Could you kindly provide me the lyrics for both options?

Also, it would be good if tasbeha.org could make an MP3-On-DEMAND. People pay you to sing something, you record it on mp3 and email it to them (or ftp it to them) and they pay u a small donation to the site.

I don't know what your voices sound like, but it could appeal to others, such as myself, that may not be accustomed to the voices of some of the mo3alimeen that you've uploaded on this site.

i am 15 and i really need to learn my alhan, but i know it by repetition in chruch but i need to know what i should know at my age. Long Palm Sunday Psalm 150 Beginning

I heard that there was a long intro to Psalm 150 for Palm Sunday; longer than the usual shanini tune said on Palm Sunday. I was wondering if this was true? If it was, can someone send me the audio for it? Thanks a lot.

Hello all,

I am supposed to give a youth meeting on the praises during kiahk and praising in general, so was wondering if anyone had some information that might help me out. If possible, i would prefer things with sources such as a church father, the pope, a bishop, or someone considered a respectable source. Also, i would appreciate if someone had a step by step analysis or explanation of the rite of 7 and 4! Thanks in advance! God bless you all!
