Suppose someone is struggling with the idea? of confessing to a priest about something because he is not sure if he should confess about this "something" ?... many times he sees the priest talking to some people and decides to change his mind.. but he still thinks about confessing to the priest and he prays a prayer? like this to the LORD "LORD God, if You want me to confess to the priest let him be alone this time" and he finds the priest alone...

Is it okay to pray like this? I would ask how do you know if God made the priest alone or satan? but then I think some people might say well satan would not want this person to confess. In this case I might agree but what if you pray a prayer similar like this for instance? if you want to get married? you say "LORD God, if You want me to marry this person let her say hello to me when I walk past her"
Can you pray like this to God? is it wrong?

(sometimes I use ? to mean that im lost if I should use that word I think)

But I want to ask another important question... Should I always trust my FOC? What if he is giving wrong advice and I dont know it? should we always believe God will speak through him if we pray to God that he does speak through him? If your priest believes in some heresys (not meaning my priest does) should we still believe God will speak through him for us?

Maybe I dont always want to think much about whether my FOC's advice is right or wrong because I want to do something else.. like read a spiritual book.. I dont want to be troubled about one matter for a long time?

I think other people here might have similar questions on their heart.

God help us all!

"When Abba Sophronius and I were in Alexandria, one day we went to the Church of St. Theodosios. A bald man came towards us who was wearing sack-cloth down to his knees. He seemed to be insane. Abba Sophronius said to me, "Give me a coin and you shall see the virtue of the man who is approaching us." I gave him five copper coins which he took and gave to the one who seemed to be insane. He received them without a word. Keeping ourselves out of sight, we followed him. When he had turned the street corner, he stretched out his right hand - in which he held the coins - towards heaven, held it up high, and then prostrated himself before God. Then, he went his way, leaving the coins on the ground.
"If you wish to be delivered from shameful passions, do not behave with anyone familiarly, especially with those toward whom your heart is inclined by a lustful passion; through this you will be delivered also from vainglory. For in vainglory is involved the pleasing of men, in the pleasing of men is involved familiarity of behavior, and familiarity of behavior is the mother of all passions. "Saints Barsanuphius and John: Guidance Toward Spiritual Life," trans. by Fr. For instance, I am vainglorious when I fast; and when I relax the fast in order to be unnoticed, I am again vainglorious over my prudence.
Okay, so in Genesis 29:31-30:24

When the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, He opened her womb; but Rachel was barren. 32 So Leah conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Reuben;[a] for she said, “The LORD has surely looked on my affliction. Now therefore, my husband will love me.” 33 Then she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Because the LORD has heard that I am unloved, He has therefore given me this son also.” And she called his name Simeon.[b] 34 She conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now this time my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.” Therefore his name was called Levi.[c] 35 And she conceived again and bore a son, and said, “Now I will praise the LORD.” Therefore she called his name Judah.[d] Then she stopped bearing.

1 Now when Rachel saw that she bore Jacob no children, Rachel envied her sister, and said to Jacob, “Give me children, or else I die!”
2 And Jacob’s anger was aroused against Rachel, and he said, “Am I in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?”
3 So she said, “Here is my maid Bilhah; go in to her, and she will bear a child on my knees, that I also may have children by her.” 4 Then she gave him Bilhah her maid as wife, and Jacob went in to her. 5 And Bilhah conceived and bore Jacob a son. 6 Then Rachel said, “God has judged my case; and He has also heard my voice and given me a son.” Therefore she called his name Dan.[a] 7 And Rachel’s maid Bilhah conceived again and bore Jacob a second son. 8 Then Rachel said, “With great wrestlings I have wrestled with my sister, and indeed I have prevailed.” So she called his name Naphtali.[b]
9 When Leah saw that she had stopped bearing, she took Zilpah her maid and gave her to Jacob as wife. 10 And Leah’s maid Zilpah bore Jacob a son. 11 Then Leah said, “A troop comes!”[c] So she called his name Gad.[d] 12 And Leah’s maid Zilpah bore Jacob a second son. 13 Then Leah said, “I am happy, for the daughters will call me blessed.” So she called his name Asher.[e]
14 Now Reuben went in the days of wheat harvest and found mandrakes in the field, and brought them to his mother Leah. Then Rachel said to Leah, “Please give me some of your son’s mandrakes.”
15 But she said to her, “Is it a small matter that you have taken away my husband? Would you take away my son’s mandrakes also?”
And Rachel said, “Therefore he will lie with you tonight for your son’s mandrakes.”
16 When Jacob came out of the field in the evening, Leah went out to meet him and said, “You must come in to me, for I have surely hired you with my son’s mandrakes.” And he lay with her that night.
17 And God listened to Leah, and she conceived and bore Jacob a fifth son. 18 Leah said, “God has given me my wages, because I have given my maid to my husband.” So she called his name Issachar.[f] 19 Then Leah conceived again and bore Jacob a sixth son. 20 And Leah said, “God has endowed me with a good endowment; now my husband will dwell with me, because I have borne him six sons.” So she called his name Zebulun.[g] 21 Afterward she bore a daughter, and called her name Dinah.
22 Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. 23 And she conceived and bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach.” 24 So she called his name Joseph,[h] and said, “The LORD shall add to me another son.”

Okay so i gave u the reference if u'd rather read it in your bible.. but i posted it also...

so Jacob committed adultery with 4 different women, so how come he wasnt punishment and it was no big deal.. i mean two of them were his wives, but the other two his wives maidservants.. and i think the wives asked him to, but isnt it still adultery...

Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.

11And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had yet being uncircumcised: that he might be the father of all them that believe, though they be not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed unto them also:

12And the father of circumcision to them who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had being yet uncircumcised.

FROM
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ro 4:1-12;&version=9;

Also what does verse 11 mean?

Pray for me against this heresy..

Amen.
