The Lord of the highest armies,
Was humble and took the image of man,
He spoke with the Samaritan woman,
Saying, “I am thirsty, give Me a drink.”

The ignorant replied to him,
“You have no water pot, O Man,”
Come and behold the Creator,
How He thirsts while He is the Judge.

A great profit, comfort and grace,
For him who performs charity,
Truly becomes a son of Abraham,
According to his faith and intentions.

He will inherit the Paradise of joy,
And be filled with all good things,
This is the reward to him who helps the sick,
And covers the naked in secret.

Love is a strong tower,
It completes all virtues,
All those who seek it,
Its light shines in them.

Refrain:
Blessed are those who have mercy,
Who give to the poor and fast and pray,
The Holy Spirit will fill their hearts,
The Son will show them mercy on Judgment Day.

Arabic-English:
Rabbol goyoosh el o’lweya,
Eta-da’ wa labas sooret ensan,
Wa takalam ma’a emra-a samereya,
Qala laha eskeenee fa enee ’atshan.

Qalat lahoo farghal hedreya,
Wa laysa laka dalwan ya ensan,
Ta’a’loo wan-zooroo khalek koole bareya,
Kayfa ya’tash wahwal dayan.

Rebhoon gazeel we a’za na’eem,
Moohaya-a leman ya’mal sa-daqat,
Haqan yaseer ebn Ibrahim,
Be hasabel eeman wal neyyat.

Wa yaseer wares ferdoos na’eem,
Wa yashba’ men koolel khayrat,
Haza gaza-a man ya-awee saqeem,
Wa yakseel ‘oryan fel khafayat.

Al-mahaba heya borge haseen,
Wa koolel fada-yel toona-meehem,
Wa se-rag moodee-e le koolel ta-lebeen,
Wahwa noor yashrek fee-hem.

Refrain:
Toba lil-rohama a‘la masakeen,
Fa-en el-rahama tehele a’lehom,
Will-masih yerham-hom fe yom el-deen,
We yehel broh qodso fehom.

رب الجيوش العلوية،
إتضع ولبس صورة إنسان،
وتكلم مع إمرأة سامرية،
قال لها "إسقيني فإني عطشان."

قالت له "فارغة الهدرية،
وليس لك دلوَاً يا إنسان،"
تعالوا وانظروا خالق كل بَرِية،
كيف يعطش وهو الديان.

ربح جزيل وعزاء نعيم،
مهيأ لمن يعمل صدقات،
حقاً يصير إبن إبراهيم،
بحسب الإيمان والنِيات.

ويصير وارث فردوس النعيم،
ويشبع من كل الخيرات،
هذا جزاء مَنْ يأوي سقيم،
ويكسي العريان في خفيات.

المحبة هي برج حصين،
وكل الفضائل تنميهم،
وسراج مضئ لكل الطالبين،
وهو نور يشرق فيهم.

المرد:
طوبى للرحما على المساكين،
فإن الرحمة تحل عليهم،
والمسيح يرحمهم في يوم الدين،
ويحل بروح قدسه فيهم.
