O Mother of light, the pride of nations,
The beginning of joy, the treasure of grace,
The source of happiness, origin of mercy,

The exalted, living, worshiped Lord,
Honored you with perfection, O daughter of David,
And Gabriel visited you, with the promised mystery,

He granted you blessedness, by the descent of the Grace,
By a wondrous mystery, you bore the Word,
And He saved every grievous soul, from the bond of darkness

Hail to you, O rod of Aaron,
Blessed are you, O daughter of Zion,
The righteous rejoice at your name,
O Mary, the daughter of Joachim.

Rejoice O Mary, O chosen bride,
O honored seed, and dome and tower,
O exalted root, of all purity,
O Mary, the daughter of Joachim.

You became a heaven, carrying the Holy One,
More honored than the power, higher than the ranks,
We beseech you intercession, before the Lord Jesus,
O Mary, the daughter of Joachim.

We ask you O Virgin, O crown of Israel,
O joy of the martyrs, O origin of rejoicing,
Intercession and victory, before Emmanuel.
