Philopater Mercurius, the strong one of Christ, put on the helmet, and the whole armor of faith.
Ⲫⲓⲗⲟⲡⲁⲧⲏⲣ Ⲙⲉⲣⲕⲟⲩⲣⲓⲟⲥ: ⲡⲓⲣⲉⲙⲛ̀ϫⲟⲙ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅: ⲁϥϯϩⲓⲱⲧϥ ⲛ̀ϯⲡⲁⲛⲟⲡⲗⲓⲁ̀: ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓϧⲱⲕ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲛ̀ⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲁϩϯ.
محب الآب مرقوريوس القوى بالمسيح لبس الخوذة وكل سلاح الإيمان.

وأخذ بيده السيف ذا الحدين الذي ثبته ملاك الرب في يده اليمنى.

مضى إلي الحرب بقوة المسيح وقتل البربر بجراحات عظيمة.

ترًّفع عن الأرضيات وطلب السمائيات وتشجع في ميدان الشهادة.

أخذ داكيوس الملك المنافق بصبره العظيم وتعب العذابات.

وبهذا لبس إكليل الشهادة غير المضمحل وعيّد مع جميع القديسين في كورة الأحياء.
