I open my mouth and declare,
With hymns and praise I will compose,
About Him who came and suffered for us,

The Father knew of what would come,
That is the reason why He chose,
To plan redemption through His only Son,

The prophets prophesied His coming,
And they wrote down upon their scrolls,
They saw the Virgin Mary, His new heaven,

He came and dwelt among us,
We had in our midst the Lord of hosts,
But He hid His divinity from Satan,

By His free will He came to the cross,
And of our punishment, He did arrange
To give light to those who are in darkness,

Because of His unlimited love,
Freedom and life to us He bestows,
And the gift of living daily with Him,

He destroyed the power of death,
And He defeated all His enemies,
He is the living Immortal God,

By His death, He humiliated Satan,
By His Resurrection, He defeated His enemies,
And by His love, He saved all of us,

Jesus was raised up on a cross,
The tree of shame and of great woes,
He bore our deserved punishment,
Christ was crucified, buried, then arose.

His lordship adorned the cross,
The curse, to peace, He did change,
And made it the sign of strength,

They buried Him into the tomb,
The Lamb of God, the Lord of Sabaoth,
But He rose up after three days,
Christ was crucified, buried, then arose.

His forgiveness was offered to all,
To our father Adam and to all those,
Who were tormented with him in Hades,
Christ was crucified, buried, then arose.

By His death He broke the thorn of death,
And He conquered all of His foes,
And He freed the saints from their prison,
Christ was crucified, buried, then arose.

He threw the dragon into the lake,
Of brimstone and fire, pain and woes,
That was prepared for him and his demons,
Christ was crucified, buried, then arose.

Satan once thought that he ruled,
All humanity who he deposed,
Than God redeemed them with His wisdom,
Christ was crucified, buried, then arose.

How full of wisdom is the Father,
The perfect plan He did arrange,
His only Son redeemed us all,

We were deceived by the serpent,
To eat the forbidden fruit is what we chose,
In defiance, our hands reached for it,

That fruit was full of deadly poison,
Its potency, we did misdiagnose,
But God revived us with His mercy,

Alleluia to the merciful God,
We praise Him with gratitude for,
His tender mercy endures forever,

He fulfilled all the prophecies,
What the forefathers had composed,
The beloved Son is the Redeemer,

Of His Birth and sufferings,
Death and Burial, the prophecies told,
And His Resurrection and Ascension,

Behold how kind our Father is,
His love surpasses what the mind knows,
He granted us true salvation,

He comforts every weary soul,
And He surely consoles all of those,
Who call on Him with a true heart,

Christ came and will return again,
Will sit on the throne as the trumpet blows,
To judge the living and the dead,

Please, O Lord, grant all of us,
To please you daily before we repose,
To forever dwell with the Holy One,
