Jesus lived in Israel and was a Jew. I'm pretty sure
if he was black, someone would've mentioned it in the Gospels.

The real question is why does it matter if he was or wasn't black? Jesus is perfectly human and perfectly God. Any minor physical details distracts us from the beauty of His love, His humility, His power, and His salvation. In this lent period, let us search for Him spiritually.

I was not trying to be technical; I was making a point in that we should  look to Jesus not for what He is, but who He is.
