We now have a set limit on total daily downloads (maximum of 15 downloads a day).

The purpose of these limitations is to ensure that we can serve as many users as possible without exhausting all of our resources.  It is important that we can all equally benefit from the service.

While we are planning for growth in the long-term to accommodate more downloads, in the meantime we will be instituting a reward system that increases total daily downloads based on forum participation.  We hope to expand the reward system to include other aspects such as user uploads in the near future.  Details of the reward system will be posted soon.

The growth of our user base has been a humbling blessing.  We look forward to continuing to serve the Tasbeha.org community.

I also wanted to point out that if you press cancel to a download, it counts it as one of the 10 downloads per day.

We serve thousands of people everyday and limiting the downloads is the only cost-effective way to keep the media downloads.

There is a download limit since our bandwidth is limited as you mentioned. Tasbeha.org does not make any profit and is supported by its members. Any support we receive, goes towards expanding our media resources and our infrastructure in areas such as downloads.

My friend told me to stream the hymns before downloading them, since a stream doesnt count as a download. Stream them just to be sure and not "waste" your downloads.

You're friend is right in saying that a stream or listen to the Hymn(s), Tasbeha, Song(s), etc online does not count as a download, because its not.

He showed me this site, and I am very happy that I was exposed to it, since I can now work on my hymns and praises I always stream the hymns before downloading them, to make sure that I don't download something I already know.

Personnally, I want to download alot of them, or maybe all of them, and arange them in psecifically and make a mp3 cd which i can listen to in the bus.
