Geo,You forgot to put Maged in the mix.
At times, I kind of like the spam. I even respond so that I can test drive my christian conduct with the bots and later I can try it out on human beings.
Remenkimi, don't worry about ur identity being stolen or ur email (unless it is public) or ur password. Login info and such is server sided meaning that even if somebody did hack into it that would mean that they had to have unauthorized access to a place that's not theirs and it is easily detectable.
Plus now a days all information transferred on the internet (sockets) are encrypted or hashed so even if somebody had access they must decrypt it which is nearly impossible because md5 hash encryption has an impossible algorithm to decrypt.
Sorry for this long winded post and pieces of computer jargon, but I just wanted to assure you that u aren't in any danger being on this website. Just don't download an .exe from a random person and you will be fine.

But it takes one person to get unauthorized access and cause serious havoc. By the time they are caught and apprehended, the damage has gone viral. I didn't download anything from Facebook. But one day unauthorized messages were posted from my account. I had to delete my account to make it stop. No, it's not much to ask for at all, this is exactly why i posted this.I don't disagree. But there are some real smart hackers out there that can do things like this. If they can hack into banks and credit card accounts at TJX and other large companies, then they can decrypt and get access to passwords on a site with below standard security. We don't need to make it easier for them.QuoteSorry for this long winded post and pieces of computer jargon, but I just wanted to assure you that u aren't in any danger being on this website. At least make sure that unwanted people do not post un-Christian material on a Christian site. Is this too much to ask for?
According to Mikesl... he has upgraded the forum software to the latest patch revision. He also says he hasn't seen any spam in a few days. There are more of you (members) then there are of us (admins)... so please report posts that you come across as spam. Thanks
