I saw a therapist for a few months because it was recommended to me; she was useless. First of all, she couldn't really help me, all I did was vent...that helped for a while but I was not provided with solutions and I had already vented my problems…

As far as I know of verbs in Greek, anything that ends with the suffix "-ein" is the present infinitive of that verb. And it is still pronounced "kh." "Khaire" is the singular. "Khaire" and "Khairete" are both used as greetings.
