Can anybody cite for me a verse that pretty much states we should accept that sinners exist <including ourselves of course>yet we should not accept or permit sins.
ive been looking and i cant really find a verse yet but i do know verses for the second part Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death
the first part probably has verses on loving one another sorry dude i tried! lol i really want to find a verse tho =]
Not only that sinners exist but as a matter of fact all are sinners...
John 8:7 [NKJV] 7 So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”
and
Ecclesiastes 7:20 [NKJV] 20 For there is not a just man on earth who does good and does not sin.
For fighting sin, I like the verse that mike used above (Romans 12:9).
