If our life here on earth in this world is supposed to be a punishment for our human corruption beginning from Adam and Eve, then why are we glad and happy? Why do we have moments and days and hours of happiness and joy if this is our punishment?

    Because this is not our punishment. We're still living in the presence of God, where goodness still exists.
