Father Abdel Messih the Ethiopian came to Egypt to be a monk at Baramous Monastery, towards the end of his life he decided to go to the Holy Land in Jerusalem to follow our Lord’s path, Pope Shenouda has written that since he was taken to the Holy Land, we do not know what happened to him from there and when he passed away. There were accounts of him appearing to people who were looking for his cave in the Syrian desert. Was it ever revealed when he passed away, like the day? Is his story included in the Synaxarium, if so what date is he recorded in?
